Newton PBC Mission Statement

Newton Public Benefit Corporation exists to build a governed, deterministic foundation for artificial intelligence — a substrate that protects people, preserves truth, and ensures that AI systems remain stable, transparent, and under human authority. Our mission is to replace probabilistic, drift‑prone AI behavior with constitutional governance, mathematical invariants, and fully auditable reasoning pathways that cannot be captured, manipulated, or silently changed.

We develop the Newton substrate, Knowledge Packs, and governance frameworks that allow individuals, developers, enterprises, and OEMs to deploy AI systems that behave predictably across time, hardware, and model generations. Newton PBC is committed to public stewardship, scientific integrity, and long‑term societal benefit — ensuring that AI remains a tool for human advancement, not a force of instability.
